BIKE CHECK WITH JEREMY LAMOGDA
I bought this bike brand new and bone stock a few years ago. Since then, the bike has been through a few different paint jobs, until the current one by Cody Rountree Custom Paint in Suffolk, Va. I’ve done a motor swap to a 117, upgraded front and rear suspension, and brake system. Out of all my Harleys I have owned, this has been by far my favorite.
Besides the paint, my favorite upgrades would be my Ohlins Nix 22 cartridges. Having smooth front riding suspension is such an over looked upgrade for Dynas, with the added comfort and handling. I also really dig the 15” Arlen Ness rotor, it really helps add a lot more stopping power, for bigger motor bikes.
I really enjoy riding most of the back roads here in North Carolina. We have a back road called McDougald out by all the tobacco fields, parts of it are very windy and with pretty good size hills. There are a few sections with aggressive turns that run downhill about a quarter mile long, that are really fun to dig in the throttle with. Also I enjoy urban/city riding. One of my favorite riding experiences was this past Indian Larry Block Party. It was my first time riding in the City, and just riding in a new environment while splitting lanes and owning the road was such a dope time.
- Custom paint by Cody Rountree
- T Mans 117 w/ 58 mm throttle body
- Fab 28 High Performance Pipe
- ODC Milano 14.2” rear shocks
- Ohlin Nix 22 front cartridges
Right now I’m finish up my wife’s 77 Ironhead. I had it painted by Cody Rountree (check him out on IG @codyrountree). It has a custom stitched tuck and roll seat to match the paint. It also has air suspension on it to help with the custom fabricated frame. Next I would like to start on a 88” Twin Cam road glide to build a performance bagger to beat the hell out of!
